The soldiers buried here died in battles fought in the last decade of November 1914 during the so-called (by the Germans) "Schlacht bei Łowicz-Sanniki".
According to sources, 154 soldiers from the Prussian army and 270 from the Russian army were buried here.
A beautiful preserved stone monument with the inscription: "Ehret die helden sie ruhen vom kampf" (In honor of the heroes, they rest from the fighting)
