This temple is located behind Baifo Temple, which is a little dated and not very posh when entering through the front gate. But continue in the direction of the parking lot and Xiaoputuo Temple will come into sight. The central building is home to a huge, golden statue and is surrounded by walls illuminated by colored lights and covered with hundreds of mini-statues.
The original temple was built during Ming Dynasty. It was demolished in 1958 and rebuilt in 2010. So despite the 52 year gap the site, and the idea, are over 400 years old.
