The path above the former gypsum quarry on the Kleiner Seeberg is very beautiful and offers particularly great views. The view stretches from the Drei Gleichen over the nearby towns of Günthersleben and Wechmar to the Ohrdruf military training area, the Thuringian Forest with Inselsberg, Schneekopf, etc., the residential town of Gotha with the Friedenstein barracks in the foreground and Friedenstein Castle, and all the way to the Hörselberge.
A log cabin was built in the middle of the path in 1901, right next to the memorial stone "Deinhards Ruhe".

Deinhards Ruhe is a memorial stone on the Seeberg for Ernst Friedrich Deinhard (1842 - 1897), a landowner who came as a pensioner to Gotha to spend his retirement here.
