Statue of Willem Lodewijk of Nassau-Dietz (Dillenburg 1560 – Leeuwarden 1620), the first stadtholder of Friesland and nicknamed “Us heit” (Our father). Willem Lodewijk is depicted as an army commander, in armor with a command staff in his right hand and his left hand on the hilt of his sword. The statue stands on a pink granite pedestal.
