"The Przewalski horse is an old breed of wild horse that was discovered in 1878 by the explorer Nicolai Przewalski and named after him. The animals have not lived in the wild since 1970. The endangered species has been preserved through targeted breeding with animals from various zoos." You can see them quite well from the viewing platform, but there is still a great distance between humans and animals.
