Fagnigola is part of the municipality of Azzano Decimo, from which it is about 4 km away

The ancient parish church of San Michele Arcangelo can be attributed, albeit with some uncertainty, to the 16th century.

The roof of the hall is made of wooden trusses, resting on pilasters, and exposed terracotta tiles; the presbytery has a cross vaulted roof. The two rooms are separated by a lowered arch. The sober façade is characterized by a portal, without a frame, with a detached protruding triangle and an oculus with a slight splay.

Below the eaves line runs an ornamental pattern of brick dentils. A second motif of hanging arches is present along the entire perimeter of the hall and the apse. Partially incorporated into the structure is the square-plan bell tower with mixed brick and exposed stone masonry. The cell, with mullioned windows with round arches, ends with an octagonal drum on which rests a pyramidal spire and an apical element composed of a metal cross.
