            This was and is the shortest connection between Hohenprießnitz and Gruna. The shortest route over the next Mulden bridge in Bad Düben means a distance of 17km. It is the only passenger ferry across the Mulde in northern Saxony.

            Nowadays the ferry is mainly used by hikers and cyclists. It connects the Muldetal cycle path and is the connection to the Dübener Heide. Up to 12 people with or without bikes can be taken to the other bank at the same time. The ferry is operated by the ferry house. The owner is the municipality of Laußig.
