The lake got its name from the blade, a ditch that temporarily carried water and whose course to the north is clearly visible from the accompanying trees.
Two hectares of land have already been reforested between the south bank and Luthersteinweg.
The Klingesee, which z. B. by reforestation of bank sections, well integrated into the landscape, should be designed as a recreational lake. Future possible uses include swimming on the northwest bank, surfing, boating and fishing. There could also be a campsite by the lake.
