St. Margaret's Church is the Evangelical parish church of Mediaș. The building is known, among other things, for its leaning tower. It is one of the most important late Gothic churches in Transylvania. The church is under the patronage of St. Margaret of Antioch.
The fortified church was built in the Gothic style starting in 1488 and is surrounded by a defensive wall with towers (Bell Tower, School Tower, Frânghierilor/Library Tower, Mary Tower, Tailors' Tower). The church tower has tilted over time due to the soil conditions.
