... the old tradition of butchery is still upheld. The visitors take a trip into history. The original function as a cattle slaughterhouse for the Büdinger butchers was made visible and tangible again in the “Schlaghaus”, a tower of the city fortifications from the 14th century.

Get an insight into the traditional butcher's tools and the historic sausage kitchen just a few meters away! During a guided tour of the museum, you will discover over 350 exhibits, some of which are more than 200 years old.
