Kaluđerovac is a village located below the Metlača hill, right next to the Lika river, known for its pottery. During the 19th century, the peasants from Kaluđerovac made clay pots that they transported on horses all over Lika and Krbava and thus fed their families because they had too little fertile land. Nowadays, no one is involved in pottery in Kaluđerovac, but this historical settlement is worth seeing because of the indigenous rural building structure that is present in the historical settlement at the foot of Metlača hill in the old part of Kaluđerovac.
