The unmarked path should only be used by experienced hikers with good, non-slip footwear and healthy nerves. It leads directly along the river bank without railings or other safety measures. You must always do it at your own risk, because it takes a lot of time until someone pulls you out of the water again. Maybe you should be able to swim too.
For this the way is:
very nice,
little committed,
not too long
We probably owe the trail to the anglers who practice their passion on the riverside. Although I have done it several times, I have not yet met any anglers.
It is less suitable for mountain bikers, as it includes some carrying passage.

I drove today with the Fully. What can I say, I would only recommend it to experienced mountain bikers. The trail is partly right on the river, crossed by roots, writhes and stones are still there. In addition, today something sprawls. Who likes it, but watch out, otherwise you will experience a (wet) surprise

From the Kronacher side the path looks a bit overgrown. But he hardly is.
In October 2023, the overgrown stinging nettles from the first 20 m were removed again.

The best way to find the path from the north is to walk along the easily accessible flood dam, which curves from the B 85 around the houses in Friedrichsburg. At the end of the dam the path and the fun begins 😊.
