The climb up these 54 m high geest pieces with the Everser Berg is hardly noticeable. In the terrain profile this rises 20 m. What is very interesting is that the second largest lignite deposit in Lower Saxony is located underground. The Geestrücken itself is a relic of the last Ice Age.
