This beautiful and pleasant hike starts directly at the car park at Frick (AG) train station (charges apply). The parking fee can only be paid via the SBB P+Rail app or if you have an SBB parking card.

It's an easy hike, although theoretically Komoot classifies it as moderately difficult, probably due to its almost 10 km length. You can decide between the short or the longer round, both are possible. I did the longer round :-). The Fricktaler Chriesiwegen is a hike that can be undertaken all year round without any problems. Especially in spring or during the cherry blossom season, this hike with all its blooming trees is simply fantastic. There are also information boards along the entire route where you can find out interesting facts about cherry cultivation. During the season you can even snack directly from specially marked trees. The path then continues to the Alt-Tierstein ruins, from where the view over the Fricktal is simply wonderful. There are always wonderful barbecue areas along the way where you can take a break.

Highlights I felt:

- Ruin Alt-Tierstein very beautiful ruin where you can walk up inside. And that too

interior is very interesting to see

- The so many cherry trees are simply great

- Always a beautiful view over the Fricktal
