One of the most beautiful places in Düsseldorf is MedienHafen. This harbour has been transformed in recent decades into a beautiful example of how you can combine old harbour buildings with modern architecture, giving a harbour area a new function. The harbour activities have now faded into the background. There is a small marina. Furthermore, MedienHafen is mainly an area where many offices are located these days. Between the offices where mainly many media companies are located you will find some top restaurants. Striking buildings are the Frank Gehry buildings, the Colorium, the luxurious Hyatt hotel and the renovated Kleine Villa. In the summer you will mainly find a hipper crowd on the terraces. Keep this in mind if you want to eat or drink something here in the evening.

Exploring the Media Harbor

The former Rhine harbor has undergone a major transformation: where silos and warehouses once dominated the skyline of the harbor area, there are now building complexes built by nationally and internationally renowned architects. The Media Harbor is home to numerous companies, primarily from the media and communications, fashion and architecture, as well as art and culture.
