The cozy Kristemoarhütte is very close to the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park, making it an excellent starting point to hike the National Park on your own. But even the meadows Mountain forests around the alpine hut invite you to extensive exploration tours. As you can see, there are really no limits to your itinerary. If you are in the mood for a bike ride, it is best to drive your car down to the Drautal and cycle here on the Drauradweg. The bike path is perfectly signposted, runs on flat paths and thanks to good rail links you can also plan individual stages as a day trip.

If you are looking for a little change between your hikes or bike rides, you can visit the nearby Lienz with its Mediterranean flair. The outdoor swimming pool in the Dolomitenbad also attracts here for a refreshing summer excursion. The Kristemoarhütte can accommodate two to seven people and can be booked at urlaubaufderalm.com/hoefe/kristemoarhuette.
