This is definitely one of the most beautiful spots in the city, as the trail's lower elevation separates you from the cars and brings you close to the impressive Chicago River, while being towered by the imposing Chicago skyscrapers. In the summer, this trail may be a bit crowded as it's a very popular spot for locals to hang out. If you want to avoid crowds, come early in the morning.
