The director's park in Beringen has already been mentioned in the context of the ruins of the director's villa located there. But the park is more than just that interesting, albeit largely destroyed, piece of history. It is located on the other side of the main track in front of the mine and it is also actively used as a park. There is also a kind of orientation trail and outdoor fitness equipment. There is also something for the little ones. At the back of the park there is also a larger road but quieter and with some villas. There is also a mining trail that runs through the park. The director was of course the mine director.

The director's park is the former garden at the mine's director's house, now a municipal park, dates from the early 20th century and is approximately 7 hectares in size. A villa was built on the site for the mine's director. The buildings became ruins due to arson. The park has been protected as a cityscape since September 8, 1981. The park is open to the public and accessible via Koolmijnlaan or Tennisstraat.
