This is not a long trail, but it is a very steep and strenuous one. The trail is not so well-maintained, and it can be more difficult to follow in the last part, close to the section that leads to the last Meysan Lake. The last part must only be attempted by experienced hikers, as you have to scramble the rocks and there is no clear trail to follow. It’s recommended to take trekking poles and spikes during winter and early spring. A wilderness permit is required for camping.
