After an adventurous tour along the smugglers' path, we reach the ferry dock in Candelero Mansila and waiting for the boat that comes from Villa OHiggins. A little above the jetty there is a reasonably level place to set up the tent. We want to take the ferry to the OHiggins glacier and leave the bikes here in the meantime. The ship arrives at 11:30 a.m. After returning from the glacier, we load up the bikes and drive across Lago Higgins to Puerto Bahamondez-Villa OHiigins.
