Although the Hochwaldhütte is a bit off the Goldsteig, it is nevertheless the perfect resting place on the stage from the Landshut Haus to Lalling. In the small DAV hut you can sit on the terrace in the sun and enjoy a hearty snack.
From January to March and from May to October the hut is farmed on weekends. You can also rent the cabin on weekdays and stay overnight.
