Barutana on Vinića hill is a very interesting historical building built in the second half of the 19th century. It was designed by an Orthodox Greek who served in the Turkish army. According to tradition, that Greek made a secret agreement with the Moravian leaders to build it with a cross-shaped base, so that the building could later serve as an Orthodox church, he expected and felt the imminent fall of the Ottoman Empire. When the Turkish commander saw what the gunpowder looked like, he immediately executed the Greek.
There are some beautiful views of Kolašin, the Tara River and the surrounding areas from the hill.
