What I really love about the circular trail around the Herrenbach reservoir: The marble runs are all rather short, or have built-in stoppers on longer sections, so even younger children can have a lot of fun because the marble doesn't roll too far away. The marble run elements are all very different and lovingly designed. Many are decorated with wooden animals. Besides the marble runs, there are older elements, such as a labyrinth, a goblin gorge, and a nature trail. Some of these are a bit dated, but still interesting.

One of several short marble runs around the Herrenberg reservoir. My children had fun. Unfortunately, the track is no longer completely flat and the ball falls out of the track every now and then.

At the end of the path towards Herrenmühle there is a machine with wooden balls for the ball track.
