The village is a great place to stop at on your tour. In need of food and drink? The Blacksmiths Arms will keep you well fed!

This delightfully old church, dating back to the times just after the Norman invasion of Britain, 1078, overlooks the village of Lastingham, and should not be missed, particularly if you are a history buff! A pub just on the other side of the street, too!
