The Broad Dyke Wetlands Natural Area is a beautiful, forested region that encompasses the historic Glebe Farmhouse and Glebe Cemetery. The Emmanuel Episcopal Church on the Green owned the land along Wilmington Road since 1719, and the church was committed to selling it for conservation purposes. The natural area is a beautiful addition to the town's Riverwalk bike and pedestrian path, extending over a quarter mile from downtown, offering a breathtaking view of the Delaware River and surrounding scenery.
