The ascent from Sagra is done along the provincial road, it is quite calm. Halfway up the climb, in the town of Benimaurell, the road becomes a paved road. Above all, the locals use it to move to their crops. There are steps to overtaking. The last slopes are very steep, save your energy for when you get to this section.
At the end of the climb, there is a restaurant on the right hand side. It is an ideal place to try typical foods of the mountains.

Don't be fooled by the Google Street view, the surface has been relaid and there's no gravel any more. Great lunch in Venta Del Collao too.

Sections with amazing views of the entire Vall de Laguar and the coast of Denia. There are quite steep sections, the surface is paved with some concrete sections. When you get to the Collado you will find the restaurant with a very good offer and prices. A stretch to enjoy to the fullest.
