Piazza Grande is the main square of Oderzo, in the province of Treviso, and since the Middle Ages it has been the center of the social, economic and religious life of the city. It is one of the most famous squares in the Veneto due to its particular stage shape, and is the backdrop to numerous cultural initiatives.

The inconspicuous and yet important trading town of Oderzo northeast of Treviso is surprisingly pretty. The small town has always been a center for trade, agriculture and transport. Thanks to a navigable canal to the Adriatic Sea, it was once even used as a river port. The remains of the Roman era can be seen today in the city center and in the Archaeological Museum.
