The Old Town Bridge Tower is one of the most impressive Gothic buildings in the world. Emperor Charles IV had the tower built along with the bridge in the mid-14th century, based on designs by Peter Parler. The gateway to the Old Town was also conceived as a symbolic triumphal arch through which Czech kings would pass on their Royal Route. To enjoy the unforgettable view, you must climb 138 steps to the walkway.
