The foundation stone for the chapel was laid in 1910. After the bell was installed, it was consecrated in 1913 and officially handed over to the community. To this day, it stands picturesquely just outside the village on a meadow on a slope near the Schillerbach. The chapel is the youngest church building in the Löcknitz parish.
The chapel is a plastered building in simple Art Nouveau forms. The narrower, transversely rectangular western part with a roof tower and southern stair tower is integrated into the hall building. On the east side there is a small rectangular choir, and on the west portal there is a flat, round-arched niche. The roof tower is an open tower with a four-sided curved hood. On the long sides there are small rectangular windows in flat wall projections with round-arched gables. The entire chapel was restored in 2002/03 and completely renovated in 2004.
