This chapel was built to commemorate lost seafarers from Gruissan at sea. On the way to the chapel grave stones of the sailors can be seen. The oldest tombstone is from 1840.
In the chapel, surviving seafarers painted pictures of their ships and other motifs of the seafaring. So it is a chapel that is not comparable to any other chapel.
The view from up there is unique in fine weather.
Attention: The chapel is not always open. Down the parking lot, however, is a sign indicating whether open or closed.

Magnificent site, with its marine cemetery, its ex-votos and its model boats in the church, the hermit's garden, and the superb view! The site is prohibited for cyclists, so you have to dismount.
