The Marina di Sorso, located a short distance from Sassari, offers a coastal experience surrounded by Mediterranean scents, with an emerald sea and a beach of soft white sand, mixed with colorful pebbles.
This vast seven-kilometre stretch of beach is surrounded by a forest of pine and juniper trees, stretching as far as the long, wide Platamona to the west. At the far end of the beach, the soft sand is dotted with lush natural vegetation, including thistles, dwarf palms and sea lilies. These characteristics make Marina di Sorso one of the most loved beaches along the Sassari coast, offering spectacular sunsets with Asinara in the background.
Continuing east, you come across Marritza, a long beach with light gray sand that turns into darker shades, almost black, with the presence of pebbles in some parts.
