Whether you're hiking or biking The Cateran Trail is a good basis for planning a single or multi-day adventure through a beautiful part of the Scottish countryside.

Around here the Trail is suitable for MTB and gravel bikes with wider tyres. A suggestion is it's easier to follow the Trail along the Shee Water heading north to south. The Trail mainly comprises dirt and gravel farm tracks mixed in with narrow dirt paths. Trail visibility can be a bit iffy in places so a planned route using technology is recommended.
