A monument in the form of an obelisk with a cross, commemorating the death of Witold Skórzewski, located in the Czerniewo Forests.
The monument commemorates the tragic event that took place in situ in 1912, when, at the invitation of Count Włodzimierz Skórzewski, his younger brother, Witold Skórzewski, came here to hunt. He died as a result of an accident while serving a loaded gun by a helper (perhaps the servant tripped and the shotgun he was holding fired, wounding Witold's side, who died about half an hour later).
The death of the administrator of the Czerniejewski estate is a historically confirmed event, but the details and circumstances of the shooting are not clear.
