Paulsplatz is a place in the old town of Frankfurt am Main. It is bordered to the north by the Berliner Straße, to the east by the Neuen Kräme, to the west by the Nordbau of the Old Town Hall (built 1900-08) and to the south it connects Bethmannstraße and Braubachstraße. Since the war devastations of 1944, he has been greatly changed in character due to the loss of several important buildings, such as the Old Stock Exchange and several bourgeois buildings in the New Army. Since then, Paulsplatz has been directly connected to Römerberg in the south.

The Paulsplatz is dominated by the neo-classical Paulskirche from 1789 to 1833, the seat of the Frankfurt National Assembly of 1848. Like the Neue Kräme and the Römerberg, the square is a pedestrian zone. The eastern part is lined with plane trees, under which several street cafés set up their tables during the summer. In addition to various summer street festivals, the Frankfurt Christmas Market takes place on Paulsplatz, as well as on the Römerberg and in the Neue Kräme.
