The Schlamauer Church was rebuilt in 1701 and 1702. The construction was financed by Hans Friedrich and August Friedrich von Brandt. They also donated a large portion of the sacred inventory. This was commemorated in a square stone above the church door.

The church was originally intended to be built from fieldstone. However, bricks were ultimately used for the construction. The interior of the late Romanesque church has a flat roof, an apse and a half-dome. To the west of the building there is a memorial to those who fell in both world wars.

The original building is a field stone building. The tower is a small, square roof tower on the western end of the ship's roof. The outsides are slated. It has a sound opening on the north, west and south sides. In the east side there is a small opening directly above the ridge of the ship's roof. The tower ends with a button, a cross and two stars.
