I cycled this route on August 2025 from Tomislavgrad towards Mostar.

There's a lot of gravel, sharp, and loose stones. Make sure you have enough water; I didn't find any springs. I had no cell reception along the entire route.

On this section, I tore two new Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour tires right down to the puncture protection.

It's a challenging route that can be dangerous, especially if you're traveling alone. So don't underestimate it.
