White Bridge - is located in the central part of Kutaisi, in the old part of the city, on the river Rioni. It is one of the most beautiful bridges in Kutaisi, its construction began in 1850 and ended in 1852, Project author was a military engineer Vite. In 1860 it was destroyed and by 1870 it was possible to make a bridge restoration project. Metal parts of the bridge, as well as railing, was painted white and the newly restored bridge was called a "white bridge". At present, it is a pedestrian bridge.

The river's white stones go well with the bridge. This place is for dating of lovers. The boys in order to prove their love had to jump from the bridge into the river. The men were judged by their jumping from the bridge.

There is a similar story of legend: director Kote Marjanishvili saw a boy who jumped from the white bridge. It was a happy meeting of director Kote Marjanishvili and future great actor Giorgi Shavgulidze.
