The observation tower is an interesting place and fulfills pretty much every cliché you would expect from such an "attraction": somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the Colorado desert stands this steel construction. Surrounded by lots of alien silhouettes, images and figures. Plus various piles of stuff. From colorful glow-in-the-dark horses from the 80s to rubber chickens and broken laptops, there's everything you don't need (anymore).
You have to decide for yourself, if you want to pay the entrance fee. At least you can take some pretty special photos and enjoy the 360-degree view of the San Luis Valley and towards Great Sand Dunes National Park.
