A great pub with beer from Bayreuth, Franconian snacks (Friday to Monday from 5 pm), and a Franconian Sunday lunch menu (11 am - 2 pm).
The owners are very friendly and relaxed, even when the place is packed on Sunday lunchtime.
Beer costs €3.50, roasts range from €9.90 (pork) to €13.20 (half a duck), and the portions are more than generous, even for hearty eaters.
Vegetarian schnitzel is available upon request.
Reservations are highly recommended for Sunday lunch!
In the summer, there are a few beer garden tables outside – also highly recommended!

A real "village inn" even though it's so close to the city. In summer you can sit outside, it's lovely and ideal for a stop on a bike tour.
Prices are very fair, and the service has always been excellent.
