The narrower side paths from the rhododendron path are even more beautiful than the wide main path - I think - because you can walk past the flowers even more directly here. It is simply wonderful when everything is in full bloom here.
When I was still working in City Nord, I enjoyed going here for lunch and after work to relax and recharge my batteries.

The rhododendron path begins at the entrance to the Stadtpark Hamburg on Saarlandstraße. The path begins at the Puma, which leads along the sports fields, past the cafe, to the playground.

One of the three display boards with information on the formation of the Rhodord reindeer and their location can be found approximately half way along the 1,500-meter path.
The hobby gardener can expect many tall plants along the way. Almost 100 of the wild species and hybrids of the rhododendrons are provided with identification signs. The colors of the purple, red, white and yellow flowers in the green can be admired from May to June.
