The beginnings of the parish were recorded in 1496. The first church was probably built in the second half of the 19th century. 15th century. Another church in this place was built in 1613-1614. In 1736 the temples were expanded. In 1746, the temple burned down. The current parish church was built thanks to the efforts of the parish priest, Fr. Wawrzyniec Walicki, in 1846 with the significant financial assistance of the Ołdakowski family and funds collected by the faithful. The church was expanded in 1949-1950 by Fr. Stanisław Szczemirski, adding transept-like arms on the sides of the room. In 1992, a general renovation of the church was carried out, and in the following years the rectory was renovated.
