A set of mills dot the Guadiana River and have been maintained since the 15th century, the Puente Navarro one is an example, but the most important and the only one restored of this group is the Molemocho Mill, located at the entrance gates of the National Park. It was one of the most important and oldest flour mills, since it was already mentioned in 1575 in the Topographical Relations ordered by Philip II.
