Bentley Woods / Halland - MTB Ride
This wood is small but fun, its quite with only a few dog walkers (including me) but can be easily joined up with Laughton Woods and then over to East Hoathly or Shortage. Best time to ride this area is in the evenings and the main footpaths are fairly large, but if you are riding in the day please be careful of other users and the horses at the large stud farm north of these woods.
Parking, best to park at the Forge Motel/Hotel or near by. Access to these woods is behind the Forge or by Heathfield Road/Old Heath Close. If you are looking for refreshments afterwards, I would recommend the Blacksmith Arms near the roundabout on the Lewes Road.
