The Seefelder Joch (≈ 2,063 m) is often used as a panoramic point and transition between peaks.

There is a cable car that runs from the Rosshütte up to the pass – the "Seefelder Jochbahn."

The cable car system was newly built or renovated in 2018.

In combination with the nearby Seefelder Spitze (2,221 m), it makes for a worthwhile circular tour with views.

Frequent starting point: Parking P19 or directly via Seefeld → Rosshütte.

A funicular leads from Seefeld to the Rosshütte; from there, you can transfer to the Jochbahn.

The Seefelder Jochbahn itself connects Rosshütte with the summit area of the pass.

The hike to the Seefelder Spitze is a truly wonderful experience. Once you arrive, you'll enjoy a magnificent view. The trail can be covered on foot or, for part of it, by cable car. The descent is very steep in places, so you'll need a head for heights.
