Simple to walk and surrounded by nature. A path not suitable for families with strollers and elderly people or those who do not walk well, as there are sections with steps and steps on the boulders that cross the river. Nothing transcendental, but it can be challenging and sometimes prohibitive for those categories. The excursion is long, round trip, about 5 km and follows the path of the river. Between bends and waterfalls, surrounded by nature, you can stroll through a well-kept wood. Too bad that the highest waterfall, that of Diborrato, located almost at the beginning of the route, is difficult to reach to be photographed from the lower part. I did it by climbing up a decent boulder. Feasible, but not simple. I would say that a few hours inside this river park is one of those things not to be missed.

Path along the Elsa river that starts from San Marziale and arrives at Colle Val d'Elsa. The path in the shade of the trees is made of wooden steps in some places, and has several crossings on stones in the middle of the river, a couple of these are a bit difficult, especially the one where there is no rope to help the crossing. Unfortunately the maintenance of the trail is lacking. It is recommended to wear boots to avoid slipping on the stones and it is not recommended for bicycles.

Beautiful, easy walk and crystal-clear water, but if you want to avoid traffic jams, don't come during the summer months. The crowds do diminish its charm.

Beautiful route along and through / over azure blue water. This route can be done on sandals (but I personally prefer sturdy shoes :-) ). But maybe it was drier then. At least I didn't need boots.
