The Cjareguart Bellina Refuge is a bivouac located at 1405 meters above sea level in the Cjariguart basin, on the western side of Mount Plauris. It can be reached from Portis by following the CAI 728 path with a circular route. Be careful because the paths are not very busy and there may be sections immersed in vegetation or with soil disturbed by landslides. The refuge has beds, a kitchenette, a stove and solar-powered light

It is located in the Lavaruzza Valley in the municipality of Venzone, at 1,400 meters above sea level in the Monte Plauris mountain range. It can be reached from the Franz Shelter in 2 hours via CAI trail no. 701, and from the Malga Ungarina in about 3 hours via CAI trail no. 728-728/a.

An ideal base for hikes in the beautiful Cjariguart basin and Monte Plauris.

Useful information:

- Sleeps: 16
- Water: Non-potable, but available depending on seasonal weather conditions
- Lighting: Solar panels
- Wood-burning stove on the ground floor and in the bedrooms
- Gas stove available on the ground floor

Shelters are a valuable asset to our area, providing hikers with a valuable base for trekking. When using them, it is important not to leave any traces of your presence, so we recommend:

- Do not leave food easily accessible to mice and other animals;
- Clean common areas;
- Remove all waste from the valley.

This facility is always open and unmanaged. Its maintenance is handled by the Park Authority with the essential contribution of local volunteers and all users!
