The town hall was built in 1543-49 instead of the previous medieval building made of timber framing that burned down in 1535. It is a two-story plastered building under a steep gable roof. A renovation took place in 1860 and the side wing was added in 1927. The elaborately designed, staggered east gable made of brick with rich late-Gothic tracery ornamentation is elaborate. After a collapse at the beginning of the 17th century, the west gable was rebuilt as a stepped gable and changed slightly in 1980.
