The Bay of Garda is home to very beautiful and varied vegetation. Cypresses, olive trees, myrtle and oleander grow here. There are numerous beautiful Lake Garda towns around the lake that not only invite you to stroll but also have numerous beautiful hotels for a longer stay.

Garda is one such town. The town has a population of around 3,835. The special thing about Garda is that it is not a one-sided holiday, but a very nice balance of beautiful landscapes, many romantic corners, but also the pulsating hustle and bustle in the city center. During Roman times, the town was called the "pearl" of the lake. It was not until the 12th century that the lake got its name from the town of Garda; before that time, Lake Garda was called "Benaco".
