In the years 1505 - 1506, the King of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Alexander, gave the land called Krasny Bór to the Lithuanian-Ruthenian family Chreptowicze. Adam Iwanowicz Chreptowicz, chamberlain of Nowogrod, and his wife Anna founded the church in 1598. The newly established parish was established in 1627. The Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, belonging to the Grodno deanery of the Vilnius bishopric, was served by Basilians brought from Grodno. In 1661, Samuel Litawor Chreptowicz, at the request of his mother Anna, after the departure of the Basilians, also brought the Bernardines from Grodno to Krasnybór. Due to poor salaries, they left Krasnybór and in their place, in 1679, Dominicans were brought from the Lithuanian province. The Dominicans lasted until the dissolution of the order in 1825. Next to the order, at least in the 19th century, there was a Krasnobork parson, who held office in a wooden church standing within the burial cemetery in the place where the church of St. now stands. Rocha. After the collapse of the wooden church and the departure of the Dominicans, the parish priest moved to the monastic church and lived in an abandoned and partially devastated monastery.
Church of St. Rocha: Built in 1871 by Messrs. Mikuta and Dressela. It was built as a cemetery chapel in place of a wooden church. In 1986, Fr. Jan Wnorowski added a porch. The church has three naves and is made of stone. The entire interior of the church is new. The main altar is made of ash, contemporary, with a painting of the patron saint, St. Rocha. A painting from the 17th century. Two modern side altars with paintings of Saint. Kazimierz Królewicz and Jesus in Gethsemane from the 18th century. The pews, confessionals, wooden ceiling lining, as well as the altars were made by a local carpenter, Sławomir Tarasiewicz. On the left wall of the church - plaques with the names of Siberians. On the right - a painting of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Stations of the Cross - wooden bas-reliefs made by Mr. Godlewski from Łomża, consecrated by the Holy Father. John Paul II in 1991. Double metal windows, colored stained glass. Three new stained glass windows in the choir windows, plant motifs. Contractor: Mr. Kuźmicki from Lebiedzin. Made in 2006 and 2007
