The Camaldoli hermitage is a religious building located near the town of the same name, in the province of Arezzo, the diocese of Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro at approximately 1,100 meters above sea level, within the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna . Founded by San Romualdo in the early 11th century, the mother house of the Benedictine Congregation of the Camaldolese is immersed in a wonderful forest.

Hermitage immersed in a centuries-old beech forest from which in ancient times they obtained the wood for Florence and Bologna, a very suggestive place, certainly worth a visit. I recommend finding out about the opening hours beforehand so as not to risk being disappointed.
